PABLO GARCIA is one of the most appreciated Argentine tango maestros based in Italy.

Pablo, a driven and ambitious dancer, joined the renowned company “Tangox2,” led by Miguel Ángel Zotto, one of the leading figures of modern stage tango. He trained for many years alongside Zotto’s brother, the late Osvaldo Zotto, serving as his assistant until his final days in 2010. Pablo combines the unique style of his mentor with the mastery of the company’s director, offering a remarkable level of elegance and authenticity characteristic of a true tango dancer.

STUDIES AND MENTORS

He began studying tango at the age of 17.
Between 1995 and 1998, he won important tango competitions in Argentina, and in 2000 he founded his own “Dance Center,” leading a team of young teachers and regularly organizing shows and classes.

Between 2000 and 2004, he studied tango intensively in Buenos Aires with internationally recognized maestros such as Juan Carlos Copes, Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau, Mingo and Esther Pugliese, Gabriel Angio and Natalia Games, Graciela González, as well as milongueros like Pupi Castelo, Petaca, Teté, Daniel García, and Carlitos Pérez.

Until 2010, he trained continuously with his mentor, friend, and life teacher, Osvaldo Zotto, who passed on to him the refinement and nobility that define the precision of his technique—both on stage and in social dancing, as well as in his teaching.

STAGE TANGO

In 2004, he became a member of the famous “Tangox2” company led by Miguel Ángel Zotto and immediately joined the world tour “Tango, a Legend,” performing in China, Hong Kong, Macau, Chile, and Canada.

Between 2006 and 2007, he participated in the production “Its Story” by Tango x 2 and toured Switzerland, Italy, England, Israel, Brazil, the Netherlands, and Portugal, performing in January 2007 at the City Center Theatre in New York. The following year, he took part in the “Florianópolis Tango” Festival in Brazil and presented “Its Story” in the Netherlands.

Between 2008 and 2009, he toured Europe with various “Tangox2” productions and participated in festivals such as “Tango with the Stars” in Buenos Aires and the “Florianópolis Tango Congress” in Brazil.

In 2010, he was invited to the pre-opening of the Sitges Festival in Spain and participated as both teacher and dancer in the first European Tango Championship in Turin, Italy. Alongside his work with “Tangox2,” he took part in the “Americaneando” Festival in Milan and other tango events in Italy with Alejandra Mantinan. He was also invited to the “TanoTango” Festival in Naples (with Lorena Ermocida) and “Fabbricando Tango” in Rome.

In 2011, he performed in the final major production of “Tangox2,” “Puro Tango,” at the renowned Teatro Metropolitan in Buenos Aires.

PRESENT

In 2012, he moved to Rome and founded the city’s first original tango school, “Dimension Tango.” Shortly after, he established the Pablo Garcia Tango Academy, with two locations in Rome and one in Naples.

Today, in addition to running his academy, he continues to collaborate with “Tangox2” and participates in numerous festivals and events both nationally and internationally.
