The Seminars: Ignite Your Dance

For intermediate and advanced dancers who wish to deepen their understanding of improvisation, intricate techniques, and the art of connection. If you are ready to explore new dynamics and challenge your creativity, this is for you.

Discover how to transform familiar movements into endless possibilities. Alterations are a powerful tango tool that allows dancers to change direction smoothly and naturally while a movement is already in progress. Through a deeper exploration of axis, pivots, and partner connection, you will learn how to create fluid transitions, unlock new trajectories, and navigate the dance floor with greater freedom and creativity. Whether dancing in close embrace or open dynamics, alterations will enrich your improvisation and expand your movement possibilities.

Saturday: The Study of Cadenas & Giros

1. Alterations and Cadeñas: Flowing from One Movement to the Next Learn how alterations and cadenas can help you connect movements smoothly and naturally. We will explore pivots, dissociation, and connection to create continuous sequences with greater fluidity and control.

2. Alterations in Giros: New Directions Within the Turn Discover different ways to change and redirect movement inside the giro. We will work with axis, energy, and connection to create more dynamic and versatile turns.

Sunday: The Study of Sacadan & Rebounds

3. Alterations and Sacadas: Expanding Your Possibilities Explore how alterations can enhance sacadas by creating new entries, exits, and transitions. The result is a dance that feels more fluid, adaptable, and creative.

4. Alterations and Rebounds: Playing with Direction and Rhythm Combine alterations and rebounds to create dynamic changes of direction and rhythmic variation. We will focus on elasticity, timing, and musical expression to bring more energy and playfulness to the dance.
